"I didn’t have a hard time making it, I had a hard time letting it go."

I just finished this book today :( it was sad.  the first elliott smith biography released after his death.  it really shows the motives behind his music and his transitions throughout his albums.  how far he came from Roman Candle to From a Basement on the Hill.  All his obstacles.  How his childhood stuck with him.  His loneliness.  I recommend any fan of his music to read it, or even if you only know a few songs, or if you like music.  Really shines a light in your life as to how the music business can change someone.
